I-4 Exit 58

ChampionsGate and Reunion transportation

Take I-4 west past the resort area to Exit 58 and you reach ChampionsGate: golf courses, a big resort hotel and streets of vacation rentals. It is one of the longer runs from Orlando International, and one of the most luggage-heavy.

Golf trips need a bigger vehicle than you think

The best-known address here is the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate, at 1500 Masters Boulevard. Golfers get two full 18-hole courses, called the International and the National, the former a Greg Norman links-style design, along with a floodlit nine-hole par-3.

Four golfers with four travel bags, four suitcases and a set of carry-ons will not fit in a car that seats four. Count golf bags as oversize items when you book, and we size the vehicle to the bags as well as the people. Often that means an SUV for two players or a passenger van for a foursome.

Rental homes around Exit 58

Beyond the resort, ChampionsGate and nearby Reunion are full of vacation homes, many behind gated entrances. Before you travel, get the gate code and the house number from your host and put both in the booking.

Celebration is a short drive away, under ten minutes by most accounts, and the theme park resort area is to the northeast. Staying out here is quieter, but every trip into the parks or to the airport is a little longer, which is worth weighing when you plan the days you will need a car.

Questions travellers ask

How far is ChampionsGate from Orlando airport?

About 27 miles, mostly west on I-4 to Exit 58. Without traffic that is roughly 25 to 40 minutes; at rush hour, plan for more.

Can you carry golf clubs?

Yes. List each golf bag as an oversize item when you book so the vehicle has room for clubs and suitcases together.

Do you pick up from rental homes in Reunion?

Yes. Give us the full address, community name and gate instructions so the driver can get straight to the door.

What vehicle suits a golf foursome?

A passenger van usually fits four players, four golf bags and their luggage. Tell us exactly what you are bringing and we confirm the fit.
