About Lake Nona

Although it feels like a town of its own, Lake Nona is part of the City of Orlando, which recognises four neighbourhoods inside it, Northlake Park among them.

Its 650-acre Medical City brings in a very different traveller from the theme parks: the children’s hospital run by Nemours, the VA’s Orlando medical center and UCF’s medical school all sit here, along with the USTA National Campus for tennis.

Can you take us from Lake Nona to the theme parks?

Yes, though it is a longer drive than from the airport itself, since Lake Nona is on the opposite side of the airport from the resort area.

Do you drive to Nemours Children’s Hospital?
